THIS IS PEOPLE LIKE ME
People Like Me goes digital – can your company help us reach 200,000 girls?
‘Following the success of People Like Me, WISE is collaborating with techUK on an ambitious plan to reach 200,000 girls, showing them that STEM subjects will open doors to a variety of jobs to suit their personality type.
The digital platform will help girls to navigate the resources and explore exciting STEM opportunities. We will also be offering training to deliver the People Like Me resource via an online platform.
The project is now in the build phase and will be launched in summer 2018.
WISE is pleased to announce that development of the online platform for People Like Me is going extremely well. We are now looking for STEM role models to showcase on the new platform. If you would like to get involved, register your interest here!
The Call to Business
We are now on the final call for companies to come forward and get involved with the project and help us reach this ambitious target. There is tiered sponsorship available - ranging from Founding Sponsors who will help steer the project to options for businesses with smaller budgets to commit. All the sponsors will benefit from the high profile exposure and positive brand association that this will bring. Please contact WISE associate, Ruth Farenga to discuss. email@example.com
We are delighted that CA Technologies is has joined us as a Founding Sponsor of the project. Sarah Atkinson, techUK board member and Vice President at CA Technologies said:
"Today, every organisation relies on technology to power their business and the war for STEM talent is real...we believe that the People Like Me Goes Digital programme will make a significant impact in increasing the number of girls in our sector."
Our Silver Sponsors:
Our aim is to persuade more girls to choose STEM subjects, apprenticeships or other STEM vocational qualifications when they choose options at 16.
