Shortlisted candidates for the Range Rover Evoque WISE Scholarship

The Range Rover Evoque WISE Scholarship is in its third year and we are delighted with the unprecedented number of high quality applications we have received this year. There were over 200 applications for the scholarship. After a lot of discussion 10 outstanding candidates were selected for interview. 6 candidates have now been shortlisted, 3 for the Apprentice Scholarship and 3 for the Undergraduate scholarship.

The shortlisted candidates for the Range Rover Evoque WISE Apprentice scholarship are Emily Swatton, undertaking a Mechanical Engineering Advance Apprenticeship at Culham Centre for Fusion Energy, Frida Nzaba, undertaking a Manufacturing Engineering Level 4 Apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce and Sophie Judge, undertaking an Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship at Royal Mail Group PLC.

The shortlisted candidates for the Range Rover Evoque WISE Undergraduate Scholarship are Abigail Parker, studying Aerospace Technology at Coventry University, Laura McElhinney, studying Mechanical Engineering at Queens University, Belfast and Temilolu Danso, studying Mechanical Engineering at Plymouth University.

The winners of each category will join previous winners of the scholarships Harriet Vickers, Chloe Adams –Pickford and Ruby Holmes.

The winners of each category will be awarded the scholarships at the WISE Awards 2015 on 12 November.
