Sue Cooper, Non-Executive Director, Skills 4 Ltd. Previously HR Director UK and Europe, Atkins

Sue has recently retired from her role as HR Director, UK and Europe, at Atkins where she led a gender diversity plan including Gender Balance Focus Groups, a worldwide Women's Leadership Council, a successful Women's Professional Network, flexible working opportunities to better support women returners, a colleague support scheme and a Career Development Programme tailored specifically for women which has helped over 300 women in Atkins to date.

She introduced unconscious bias awareness training for all managers and sponsored a policy for all women at mid-to-senior grades to have a senior woman present at interview. In a lifetime of commitment to gender equality, Sue has used her position to influence, support and inspire others to take action to attract, retain and promote female talent.
