Are there costs associated with this opportunity?
All aspects of the training will be covered. Reasonable travel expenses will be considered where applicable.
How does this opportunity align with formal training programmes?
The programme is open to all mid-career female scientists whether in a formal training programme or not and compliments the Modernising Scientific Pathway and equivalence pathways.
Is this opportunity applicable to those who have had a career break or maternity leave?
Yes the programme is open to all those with a minimum of five years accumulated experience in their field.
What will be expected of me as an ambassador and role model?
You will be offered opportunities to meet and speak to other young women in your own and related fields. You will be free to accept or decline the invitations to events to ensure they fit around your work and personal life.
How much time will I have to commit to the programme?
The Fellowship has five formal days of involvement and then a range of optional activities and events that you can choose to be involved in. It is suggested that another three days are assumed but these could be half days or evenings, in person or over the phone. The more you get involved with the more you will gain.
