Lecturer in Materials Chemistry
School of Chemistry
We are looking to appoint a highly talented colleague in the field of Materials Chemistry, with particular preference for a candidate with expertise in an experimental area of Materials Chemistry, either in fundamental or applied aspects of the subject, and including the interface between Materials Chemistry and other scientific disciplines.
Applications are sought from candidates whose research and teaching interests complement and enhance the current strengths within the School. Candidates should be able to strengthen existing partnerships with related disciplines, and to foster dynamic research collaborations both within the university and in the international arena.
Candidates must have an outstanding track record in research, including an excellent publication record, and must demonstrate the ability to obtain research funding and support. The successful candidate will contribute to the ambitious aspirations of the School in both teaching and research, and must seek to be an inspiring and innovative educator at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

This full time (35 hours per week), open-ended post is available from 1st January 2018.
Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum (Grade 6) or £41,212 - £47,722 per annum (Grade 7)
